Another new day, another WOD completed, and more sense of accomplishment.
I may be more excited than most about this, but I got my first unassisted (yes, I bolded that just in case you couldnt see :) ) pull-ups the other day and last night I made my friend take some pictures of me wearing my new "barbie" shorts while doing them that obviously matched my Barbie outfit that inspired this whole blog. These pull-ups were Post-Chipper WOD (as well as the exhaustion pic with my kettlebell!) which was overall well....satisfying to say the least
100 Doubles (I subbed 200 Singles)
90 KB Lunges #35
80 Situps
70 KB Swings #35
60 Box Jumps 20"
50 Goblet Squats #35
40 Burpees
30 KB High Pulls #35
20 HSPU (I subbed on a box)
10 Turkish Get-ups #18
* 30 min cap
AND I finished in 29:44...talk about last minute..
Crossfit and each WOD is a matter of following through on your goals. Setting your mind to that time or that weight and not letting your thoughts or your ego stop you. It's that determination and that drive, the dedication and desire.
What makes it even better is that all of this can be applied to life. Your life.
