Digging Deep

Hello again :) So, I'm sitting here at work, snacking on almond slices (I swear my diet isn't usually that good, but I'm trying!)....anyways, just thinking about my workout last night. If you're familiar with crossfit at all, it was Fran.

It may not look like it, but this sucks. It hurt soooo bad, yet soooo good. And not that I haven't experienced it before, but I really got to feel what it meant to be part of the Crossfit community last night. Standing there in my obnoxious pink plaid Nike Dri Fit booty shorts, 65lb barbell resting on my collarbone, about to throw up and half the gym is crowded around me, pushing me...to my limit. My body was telling me to quit, but my heart and my fellow c-fitters wouldnt allow it. It may have taken me 8:14, but the accomplishment I felt for even doing 65# and the overwhelming support I got made it all worth it.

Crossfit is not just a gym, it truly is my community. My second home.

Dig Deep and you will succeed. (even if you do feeling like throwing up)
